Friends and Colleagues:

I am proud to serve as Chair of the Arizona Women's conference. Personal and professional development for women is an area that I hold near and dear to my heart. It is also an area that is critical to women's wellness. On September 26, 2007, the Arizona Women's Conference celebrated five years of contributing to this cause.

The Conference hosted a sold out crowd exceeding 1,000 participants that truly reflected the diversity of our community. Through the Conference, a community has been developed. We have built this community together and it sees no color and knows no bounds. As a result, the suport the Conference receives is strong and plentiful. This support comes from Conference fiduciary, COPE Community Services, Inc., and sponsors such as Pima County and the Community Partnership of Southern Arizona. This support also comes from national leaders, community volunteers, and from each of you.

I am privileged to work with a planning committee of talented and giving women who mobilize the community in this effort year-round. These women represent values such as strength, generosity, and above all determination.

The Arizona Women's Conference has become a fixture of support for women and it is an honor to continue to be part of a movement to create  stronger, healthier women and communities.

Thank you for your participation.

Best Regards,
Claudia Jasso-Stevens
